Hello,

I'm very surprised because it seems to me that just few people are contributing to this great project.
I have some questions regarding the way we can increase the database.

I recently added about 20 ressources locations (deposits) in the Breeland.
I find it very time consuming. There should be some ways for users to save basic pois, because every time I want to add a new one, I must type again all the information.

Actually I think those basic pois should be already determined. It would firstly help reduce mistakes or differences between pois that are used for the same purpose. And secondly, it would be easier to add. The user should only be able to add some comments, to edit, etc.

Also, this tool severely lacks some quick way to access personnal pois, and edit them. For example, if I want to change their name, I must go accross the map to find the pois, then edit them, then it asks me again the location, etc.

Also, it seems there are problems when I try to define a location without using the cross, but typing references. By the way, the letters behind the numbers 00X, 00Y, X & Y aren't the same as those I see in game, which are "R" & "O".

I know it musn't be easy to implement such things, but I think this tool is so great, that it's a waste not to make it more confortable for us, who want to contribute.

Hi Abel!

I absolutely agree that the map tool needs some revamps. In fact, I think the whole thing needs a complete re-write ;) I am trying to motivate myself to do this, but I have the usual story about RL etc.

For the first time I am considering opening up the code to allow others to not only help by adding items, but also allow those who have the web programming skills access to update a development copy. I haven't made any decisions on this, but if anyone is interested, please let me know.

Hey, I completely understand your point!
I think you're right about the needs of the map tool.

I have some (but very little) skills in web development, but not much in other domains. Tell me if this can help.
