It has recently come to my attention that the new zone of Rhovanion, which currently includes Moria and Lothlorien, has a new in-game coordinate system. I am working to get this changed on my map so for now, just click to add a data point rather then typing in the coordinates as anything in the new area will be wrong.

I've added all the new map areas! I'll be working this week to get some data loaded and all the new stuff added to the database entry screens. Feel free to post in the forums if you notice something I need to add so you can add accurate data!

Turbine recently announced that players will receive a 25% bonus to XP between Oct 2nd and Oct 6th. Be sure to level your alts or start plying again! I'll be leveling my little 28 Burg all weekend...

Turbine recently released a Signature generation utility on the official LotRO forums. Since many players have more then one character, I wrote a simple program that takes several signature urls and converts them to an animated GIF that rotates to each entered alt. Turbine updates their images every 24 hours so I set up the GIF image to also update every 24 hours.
To use this tool, login/create an account and go here.
While this is useful for external sites like arda-online.com, it is not usable on the main forums because of the external image restrictions in place for signatures.

New areas on the map include:
Forochel
Carn Dum
Eastern Angmar
Ettenmoors
Eastern Misty Mountains
We don't have a lot of Markers for these places yet, but that's what our community is for! As your questing in these areas, please contribute to the map and share your knowledge with others.

We've recently added the ability for members to add their characters to arda-online.com. Currently, the only feature available for your characters is the Log Parser. You can upload any number of combat logs and the parser will give you lots of useful (and some useless) information. I plan to add alot more to the log parser as well as to the new My Characters section.
Future Plans:
- Parse Timestamped logs for per-second data
- Have a 'Character Journal' page that allows you to add items and see the changes on your stats in-game stats (Using the Lorebook Item Database)
- Add crafting information about your character and open a store (for in-game COD transactions)
- Create a custom Character Image for use in forums as a signature/avatar.
